~i realised i had abandoned my blog since i start work with LSH - OCBC. Not b'cause there are no happening musing in my new skool but it's simply b'cause i'm so caught up with work that i started a journal for my little ones, in powerpoint form so the parents are more informed of thr activites i conduct with the children. I might just post up those powerpoint one of these days. When i figure out how to get about doing it. hahahahahahahahaha Oh Well! i'm on unexpected medical leave today, so all my thumb drives and stuff are in the office, that leaves me with nothing to do from the start of the day! i'm so bored! i reckoned i really can't be a stay home mum in future. i want to work! i love my job! look who's talking, i'm been crowned the OT queen of last month.
before i deviate from this entry's title. Saw this on Elieen's blog as i was clicking away... it's so simple yet powerful... it's cheers us (the teachers) on... i remember telling someone, i go to work being loved everyday; 'cause the kids fight for their teacher sheryl... so much so that i have to tell them to "share" teacher sheryl...
Spare some time........ There are those days when the logical mind says, You must move on and find a better job, Those days when the logical mind says, Why did you choose this career, it is not reasonable. Perhaps logic did not play a great part in choosing our jobs as teachers, If we are truly teaching life's most important lessons to the little ones. The lesson of love, to love oneself unconditionally and to share that love with others. Perhaps we are guided and chosen to be in this place. For teaching love in a crowded, confused and often angry world, Is not something everyone can do. Though our wallets may not be overflowing, How many people are hugged and told they are loved by the people they work with each day? How many people own original artworks created specially for them? How many jobs allow you to wipe away tears and make the world a better place for others? How many people are allowed to see a tired, weary world through fresh new eyes where everything is possible, To hear laughter and joy for no big reason, just for being.... When the logical mind says, what are you doing teaching young children?...... Listen to your heart once more...
