    it has been 3 years,
since i embarked on the journey of being an early childhood educator...

so much learnt... so much shared... so much taught... so much experienced...
and so many more to come...

    looking back...
    it really wasn't easy... really...

-i remembered crying so much when i had to wash poo-ed butts and clean up pukes...
-i remembered staying up late at night or even through the entire night to do up my
    assignments...
-i remembered convincing my parents that i really love being in the early childhood field...
-i remembered how my daddy used to be mad @ me for not going in a JC or Poly...
-i remembered how my mummy used to think of me as a nanny...
-i remembered only my granddad truly understand my love for children...
-i remembered being questioned by parents when the think i'm underage, i still get this today!
-i remembered spending hours and even days to do up my classrooms...
-i remembered staying up late to do up all the teaching aids...
-i remembered i did that (above) with the help of my friends... THANKS!!!
    -i remembered ...
    -i remembered ...
    -i remembered ...

really thank god for bringing me to where i am today...
-thank him for his grace and favour that has always been upon me whichever school i went to...
-thank him for the strength he has provided when the going got tough..
-thank him for showing my parents how much i really enjoyed myself...
-thank him for all the wonderful mentors that i had...
-thank him for all the awesome friends that have supported my decicion...
-thank him for a great granddad!
    -thank him...
    -thank him...
    -thank him...

    It's 12th March today... I'm 21... Yes! TWENTY-ONE...

Unlike all the other birthdays, this is a significant one...
    like what many have said,
I'm entering into womanhood... I'm officially an adult...

God has brought me through an amazing journey in these 21 years...
all the tears, heartaches, pain, laughter, joy and excitement...
certainly confirmed that i'm not brought into this world by chance... =)

I look forward to moving on to another season of my life... where it'd be ever-increasing...

    Signing off...
    His little princess

    as the title suggests...

    here's how the story goes...

Prior to the party, i placed my order @ the bakery (my mum's friend's friend).
Chose a cake from the cake catologue, told them what i want written on the cake, the size of the cake and blah-blah details... everything was nicely written on the receipt...
I ordered a chocolate fudge book-shaped cake with red roses on it.

On the day of the party, my aunty collected the cake.

I almost fainted when i saw the cake!!!

I ordered a DARK BROWN CHOCOLTE FUDGE CAKE with RED ROSES but what stood before me was a COFFEE-COLOURED CREAM CAKE with PINK ROSES!

To make matter worse... what i want written on the cake was not there and the spelt my name wrongly!

Of course i didn't keep the cake. My mum and my aunt sent it back to the bakery.
The boss offered a full refund and a cake replacement.
At that point, they only have 1kg cakes in the shop, so the boss wanted my mum to take two cakes but mummy only brought back one.

    That's how my 3kg cake became 1kg.

Oh well... i'm just glad the cake didn't spoil the night. We all still had fun.
But i really must apologise, cause everyone only had a tiny slice of cake.
    Sorry guys!
